B.K.S. Iyengar said “the body is a laboratory” and that is why I want to do research with my body.
I have spent years researching, studying, and exploring questions intellectually. Much of my study was self-guided, and I spent some years in graduate school as well. Thinking is and was exhausting. Existential questions, wanting to understand reality and solve problems, all of those things are depleting to the entire being of a person. When you really intensely train the brain and mind, it’s hard to also train the body at the same time. It’s been almost impossible for me.
This is why I want Athletic Lifestyle, to be research with my body. I don’t want many books or heavy intellectual work, but instead I want my body to be the vehicle and focus of my research. I want my body to be the laboratory, and what I pay attention to, experiment with, and document. I want my body to be what I a mastering right now.
So the purpose of my work right now, is three-fold:
1. Expressing my soul as an athlete.
2. Mastering my body and lifestyle.
3. Focusing on my body as the laboratory and doing research with my body.
This means, physical training, nutrition, athletic conditioning and self-care become the priority and instead of being extra to my professional life, they become intertwined, and inseparable from it.

Lifestyle House
Athletic Lifestyle is a personal website, connected to the project Lifestyle House, which I am developing right now. It is part of the company, Sage Warrior Master LLC and it’s purpose is to designate and devote a location and special place for research, experimentation, writing and mastery of a lifestyle (prioritizing exercise and a focus on the body) that enables complete freedom and liberation for the individual. That is my purpose overall, liberation for the body and the mind.
